Swiss Cotton Organdy

A Note About Our Swiss Organdy - All of our Swiss Organdy's are exceptionally high quality. They are a transparent, crisp fabric. Some of our customers refer to them as "the old fashioned organdy that looks like glass".

I love using it for baby bonnets. Add a little machine or hand embroidery, a touch of lace and you have the most adorable baby bonnet that you can imagine!

You only need 1/3 yd of Organdy to make the Little French Bonnet in the Old Fashioned Baby Bonnets pattern by Old Fashioned Baby. Click here to see the pattern.

Fabric is priced in 1/2 yard units, so remember, if your pattern calls for 3 yards you will need to order 6 half yard units.

Dotted Swiss Organdy - Large Dots

100% Cotton - Imported From Switzerland

60" Wide

We waited a long time to get this one! This exquisite organdy is very hard to find. Unlike traditional dotted Swiss, which has small dots on batiste, this fabric has large dots on Swiss organdy.

Perfect for the most special projects. If you want to make a bassinet cover, fit for a princess, this will certainly do it! Use this for the bassinet skirt, tie a big bow made of pink Silk Dupioni and you have a fabulous bassinet cover at a fraction of the cost of buying one ready-made.

Bassinets covered with this can cost anywhere between $1,100.00 and $1300.00! You can make it yourself for a fraction of the cost! To see what we mean, do a Google search with the 3 keywords "dotted organdy bassinet". Our white Swiss Silky Broadcloth is a good choice for the bassinet lining and bedding.

Hand wash only. Use a towel to absorb access moisture and iron while still damp.

Dotted Swiss Organdy - Price: $29.00 (per 1/2 yd)
