Baby Heirloom Gown

Baby Gown
Jeanette's Gown

The fabric Jeanette chose for both, the gown and slip, is our white Pima Swiss Batiste. She embellished the gown with lots of pintucks, French insertion and narrow Baby Edging Lace and Swiss entredeux. A gathered ruffle finished the slip bottom.

White satin ribbons are woven through the French lace beading on the sleeves and the back closes with little mother of pearl buttons.

When Jeanette contacted us, she said she was given only two weeks notice to make this dress and have it ready in time for the ceremony! We hurried to get all the materials to her so she could get started. Her enthusiasm and joy was contagious! She completed it on time and sent us the photo.

Thank You

Thank you Jeanette for sharing your great grandson's lovely Christening gown with us.

This beautiful gown was lovingly made by Jeanette J. of Wichita, Kansas for her great grandson's Christening in October 2002.

The Pattern

Jeanette used Baby Gowns by Old Fashioned Baby for the pattern.
