Christening Gown Ensemble II
Elegant princess style gown pattern for a true heirloom garment, this pattern has it all!
The skirt bottom of the gown can be finished with lace or a ruffle, the neckline can be finished with a peter pan collar or lace edging and two gathered sleeve variations, each with a different fullness are also included.
This pattern also includes a blanket which has a hood on one corner to cover the child's head. The bonnet is the popular handkerchief bonnet style which can be used later as a handkerchief, often as a wedding hanky when the child is grown.
