Toddler Yoke Dresses 1 - Love and Stitches

love and stitches pattern

Toddler Yoke Dresses
from Debbie Glenn is a classic yoke dress pattern. No set in sleeves for extended wear and easy construction!

You can embellish the insert with your favorite handwork or add a contrast fabric bib.

The pattern includes several collar, bodice and sash variations. It also includes Cherry Tarts smocking plate, Tulip Trio and Country Apples appliques.

View 1 has a smocked yoke. The collar and cuffs are trimmed with piping and gathered eyelet. Double rolled and whipped sashes tie in the back with a bow.

View 2 has a contrast insert that is embellished with a blanket stitched apple applique. A red edge stitched collar band, piping and side ties add a touch of color.

In View 3 applique tulips accent the ruffle trimmed contrast pique bib.

View 4 (not shown) is a quick and easy variation by omitting appliques and smocking. The piped peter pan collar and back button belt are optional. A plain bib is perfect for machine embroidery, contrast or border fabrics.

Fabric Suggestions: Cotton, cotton blends, poplin, chambray, linen, feather weight corduroy, wool flannels.
