Beach Dresses III from Ginger Snaps Designs, is a light and airy, empire waist dress design, perfect for beach portraits and summer dresses.

The monogram variation has been edged with rickrack. The other variation features an inset which is bordered with entredeux and lace insertion. The inset squares may be made of embroidered handkerchiefs or your own embroidery on a plain fabric panel.

A short puffed sleeve pattern is also included to make this pattern more versatile! The neckline and armholes are finished with a bias binding facing.

A sand dollar shadow work design has been included. This is a fun and easy dress to sew!

These are liberal estimates. Exact measurement of pattern pieces may result in the purchase of less yardage.

Sizes 4, 5: 2 1/4 yds
Sizes 6, 7, 8: 2 1/2 yds
Sizes 10, 12: 2 3/4 yds

Flat trim for neckline: 1/2 yds
Flat trim for armholes: 1 1/2 yds
Cording for waistline: 1 1/4 yds
Entredeux for inset: 2 1/4 yds
Lace insertion for inset: 1/2 yd
Edging for skirt: Match the fullness of the skirt, plus 4" in case it draws in a little when it is attached.
Notions: Three 3/8" - 1/2" buttons
