Old Fashioned Baby - Antique Toddler Dresses
The Antique Toddler Dresses are reproductions of baby dresses worn in the early 1900's. The dresses look like they have round yokes but actually have a raised front and back square yoke.
View 1 is a reproduction of a dress in the Louisiana State University Clothing Collection. The yoke and hem and the ruffles on the yoke and hem, are embellished with lace insertion and tucks.
View 2 features a Yoke ruffle and a shadow embroidery design for the yoke and hem.
View 3, also reproduced from a vintage garment, has lace insertion shaped along a curve which is bordered with lace edging. Hand embroidery accents the yoke and hem.
All views have Swiss Beading and Lace Edging on the short puffy sleeves. Use French sewing by machine techniques to easily sew these adorable little girls dresses.
