Old Fashioned Baby - Embroidered Raglan Daygowns
Embroidered Raglan Daygowns are the perfect choice for boy or girl baby when you want a comfortable daygown with a front that is made for embellishing. Use one of the designs included or do you own special touch.
View 1 daygown features soft gathers at the
front, entredeux and lace trimmed neck and a cute little duck
family shadow Embroidery design. The sleeves are styled after
an antique gown with ribbon ties beaded through buttonholes at
the wrist.
View 2 is a daygown featuring elegant embroidery
at the neck and hem of gown. The neck and sleeves are edged with
entredeux and lace.
View 3 is perfect for a boy baby. It features
a Baby whale shadow Embroidery design and bias binding at the
neck and sleeves. The sleeves have pleats at the edge to take
up the excess fabric for a tailored look. Featherstitching embellishes
the sleeve seams and an embroidered running Stitch accents the
hem.

45" Fabric Suggestions: Pima or Swiss Batiste, Lawn, Handkerchief Linen, Silk Broadcloth, Swiss Flannel, Swiss Baby Cord and Poly/cotton Batiste.
All Daygowns Need: Fabric - 1 yd and 5 flat Mother of Pearl buttons that are 3/8", needles #10 Sharps or #10 Crewel and a #7 Between for Shadow embroidery and floss as desired.
VIEW 1 - Baby entredeux: 3/8 yd, 3/8" lace edging: 1 1/3 yd, 1/8" wide silk ribbon: 1 7/8 yd. Ducks are pink with blue flowers or blue with pink flowers, yellow feet and bill, leaves & stems are green.
VIEW 2 - Baby entredeux: 7/8 yd, 3/8" wide lace edging:1 1/2 yd, White embroidery floss.
VIEW 3 - If contrast bias is desired: 1/2 yd contrast colored fabric, blue Anchor floss # 120.
