Baby's Smocked LayetteJeannie Baumeister
Baby's Smocked Layette pattern is fashioned after an antique baby gown that features a little bit of smocking in the front of the gown and smocked sleeves. Baby entredeux and lace trim the neck edge. Views 2 & 3 have 3/4 length sleeves. This pattern has been developed to be pleater compatible and still keep that old fashioned look. View 1 is a long Daygown with long sleeves and includes directions for a bias neck and bias bound sleeves. View 2 has a scalloped hem that is accented with embroidery. View 3 has a lacy hem and a little bit of embroidery at the hem. The cute Ruffled Brim Smocked Bonnet ties in the back, making the size adjustable. The Slip pattern has both the long and the short length included. Size: Infant & 3 - 6 months (to 20 lbs.)
