Sewing For
Baby

So, there is going to be a new baby in your life! What fun you will have selecting patterns and fabrics for the new wardrobe.

Daygowns, diaper shirts or aprons are good basic patterns to start with, especially if you are a beginner to heirloom sewing.

Practice making simple garments before you attempt the "most beautiful gown in the world" project! Before you know it, you will have all the confidence you need to begin that big project.

To all the "baby boomer" generation and older: remember those sweet little delicate dresses and daygowns mother used to put on the baby? The ones you cannot find in the stores any longer, well, with Creations by Michie' and Old Fashioned Baby patterns and Swiss batiste you can re-create those precious garments for today's baby.
